Download and Installation

#1-TuffTEST for Windows is a licensed freeware program. Note that it has a different download and installation process than the other #1-TuffTEST products

Before you download

Before you download any of the components below, if you do not currently have an area dedicated to downloads, we suggest that you create a "Downloads" folder on your C: drive, then a sub-folder under it for #1-TuffTEST for Windows and place all of the components you download in the #1-TuffTEST for Windows sub-folder.

#1-TuffTEST for Windows Installation Wizard

The #1-TuffTEST for Windows Installation Wizard is a self-installing Windows program that you "RUN" under Windows XP, NT, 2000, ME, 98 and 95.

It will install the program and then create a #1-TuffTEST for Windows program group on the Start menu and a #1-TuffTEST for Windows shortcut on the desktop.

Installation Instructions

Step 1.
VERY IMPORTANT: Before installing #1-TuffTEST for Windows

NOTE: Alternatively to the above, you can boot your PC into SAFE MODE (consult your Windows Help Files), and then install #1-TuffTEST for Windows .

Step 2.
IMPORTANT: If applicable, un-install any previously installed version of #1-TuffTEST for Windows.

Step 3.
Re-boot your PC to complete the un-install process.

Step 4.
Download ttw_setup.exe from the Download Address above.

Step 5.
After a few seconds, a window will pop up asking you where you want to save the file (ttw_setup.exe). Save it to your Windows Desktop or to a folder on your hard drive.

Step 6.
After the download is complete, simply double-click on the downloaded file (ttw_setup.exe), and follow the instructions that appear.

Step 7.
When you are finished, re-boot your PC to complete the installation process.

Step 8.
IMPORTANT: Before you run #1-TuffTEST for Windows, ALL other open applications and programs running in the background MUST be closed. This especially applies to anti-virus and system protection programs.
