How To Use Undisker and Roxio to Make a Self-Booting
#1-TuffTEST or #1-TuffTEST-Pro CD

You can use Undisker, version 1.2, or later, and Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator, version 6.1, or later, to create a self-booting #1-TuffTEST or #1-TuffTEST-Pro CD as follows:

1. Create a #1-TuffTEST or #1-TuffTEST-Pro Program Diskette.

2. Undisker has a 30-day Free trial period. Download and install it from:

www.undisker.com

3. Undisker can create a disk image file (*.img) of any floppy disk. This image file contains an exact bit-by-bit binary copy of the source disk including its boot sector.

4. You can use Undisker to create an image file from your #1-TuffTEST or #1-TuffTEST-Pro Program Diskette as follows:

A. Run Undisker.

B. Insert the source #1-TuffTEST or #1-TuffTEST-Pro Program Diskette into Floppy Drive A:\.

C. Select Capture Floppy A:\ from the Image menu.

D. Type a filename for the image file.

E. Choose Generic Disk Image (IMG) as the file format.

F. Press the Save button.

5. Use Roxio, or any other CD ROM burning software that supports creating a bootable CD from an image file (*.img), to burn the newly created image file to a CD. Use Roxio as follows:

A. Run Roxio.

B. From the Menu select:  File > New Project > Bootable Disc.

C. Then select:  Bootable Disc Type: Floppy Disc Emulation (1.44 MB).

D. Then select:  Use Existing Image file.

E. Browse to the location of the image file that you created with Undisker.

F. Click OK.

G. Click Burn.

IMPORTANT:  To use your newly created self-booting #1-TuffTEST or #1-TuffTEST-Pro CD on a PC you will need to make sure that the CD-ROM drive is selected as the first Boot Device in BIOS Setup.
