Step 1.
VERY IMPORTANT: Before installing BCM Diagnostics Pro:
- ALL other open applications and programs running in the
background MUST be closed. This especially applies to anti-virus and
system protection programs.
- ALL BIOS-based anti-virus and
system protection functions MUST be disabled.
- If you are using Windows NT, 2000 or XP you
must first log on with "Full Administrator Privileges".
NOTE: Alternatively to the above, you
can boot your PC into SAFE MODE (consult your Windows Help Files),
and then install BCM Diagnostics Pro.
Step 2.
Check the file name and size of the BCM Diagnostics Pro Installation
Wizard. The file name should be "bcmsetup.exe" and the file
size should be 3,416,515 bytes. If for any reason you need to download
bcmsetup.exe again, you can download it at no charge (onto your hard
drive or floppy disk) from:

Step 3.
IMPORTANT: If applicable, un-install any previously installed version of BCM Diagnostics
or BCM Diagnostics Pro.
Step 4.
Re-boot your PC to complete the un-install process.
Step 5.
Go to the URL below and click on the Primary Download Address.

Step 6.
If the Primary Download Address is busy or
slow due to the high volume of downloads, or if you receive any
errors, select one of the Alternate Download sites.
Step 7.
After a few seconds, a window will pop up asking you where you want to save the
file (bcmsetup.exe). Save it to
your Windows Desktop or to a folder on your hard drive.
Step 8.
After the download is complete, simply double-click on the downloaded
file (bcmsetup.exe), and follow the instructions that appear.
Step 9.
When you are finished, re-boot your PC to complete the installation
process.
Step 10.
IMPORTANT: Before you run BCM Diagnostics Pro, ALL other open applications and programs running in the background MUST be
closed. This especially applies to anti-virus and system protection
programs.
